Dr. Preeti Bajaj, Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University, Noida is Ph.D in Electronics Engineering and holds a degree in MBA. Her career spans over 30 years having experience in administration, academia and research.

She has achieved many milestones such as NAAC A+, NIRF Rankings, 30 Crores plus grants, AICTE-Magradarshan, UGC-Paramarsh, World Bank-TEQIP-I & II, ARIIA ranking and Indian Patent Rankings during her leadership roles in various academic institutions.

She has been an active IEEE volunteer for more than 20 years and has executed many leadership roles of IEEE in India and several other countries.

She is currently the Chair-Education Activities Committee, IEEE Region10 – Asia Pacific, Member-Section Education Outreach Committee (SEOC) -Education Activity Board of IEEE, USA. She has received several prestigious accolades such as the Lifetime Achievement Award by IEEE India Council 2020 for Best Teacher, Bhaskar Woman’s Award, Faculty of the Month Award and FICCI Road Safety Award.
