Dr Nihar Shripad Walimbe is the Principal of Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune, a NAAC Accredited College with an A+ grade.

He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Bombay and has 33 years of rich experience in the field of education.

His areas of research include Thermal Fluid- Refrigeration/Cryogenics and Advances in Education Technology.

Dr Walimbe has been instrumental in establishing the PVG College of Engineering, Nashik from the foundation.
