Prof. Siddharth Jabade is Vice Chancellor of Vishwakarma University, Pune.
He has completed his PhD from IIT Bombay and has multi-faceted experience in education. He is co-inventor of the affordable housing technology for SMART GRAM-an initiative by President of India office.
He was Director, Innovation and IPR at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, International Consultant for Asian Development Bank, UNESCO and resource person to the World Intellectual Property Organization. He is involved in the development of the innovation management program at Oman and the Office of Prime Minister, Cameroon, Africa.
He has been the site director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Energy-Smart Electronic Systems (ES2) Center at Vishwakarma, established in collaboration with State University of New York at Binghamton, USA, Technical Advisory Group member to review proposals under the “Reinvent the Toilet Challenge: India”, funding opportunity announced by BIRAC with support from Department of Biotechnology and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
