Sanjay Srivastava, Principal, Birla School Pilani started his teaching career in 1985. He is an MSc in mathematics and also holds a bachelors degree in education.

His past experiences include working in Mayo College, Ajmer and as an administrator in an Indian School, Muscat UAE.  He also worked as a Principal in Asian School Dehradun, subsequently worked as Principal in The Jain International School in Bilaspur, CG. He took over Birla School Pilani as a Principal in January 2015.

He has been a mentor and mentee in Chandigarh when the CBSE introduced Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). He was a master trainer in the city for the implementation of CCE and he visited many schools to inspect the CCE implementation.

He has been appointed as an Inspector of schools by CBSE to inspect schools seeking affiliations from CBSE.
